President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf says government is concerned about the situation at the Liberia Agriculture Company.
According to President Sirleaf, the situation at LAC was worrisome.
She made the statement Tuesday during a surprised visit to the Legislature.
The President’s visit came shortly after her arrival into the country from the inaugural ceremony of Rwandan President Paul Kigame.
During the visit, President Sirleaf met Senate Pro Temp Cletus Wotorson and Vice President Joseph Boakai.
Also in the meeting were Senators Nathaniel Innis of Grand Bassa and Nathaniel Williams of River Gee.
It was gathered President Sirleaf expressed concerns over the release of people being held in connection with the strike at LAC on the orders of a certain Senator.
