Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf is set to unveil the first batch of her reconfigured Cabinet today, multiple sources within the administration confirmed to FrontPageAfrica Wednesday.
FPA can now confirm that at least three on-leave ministers are returning – the Minster of Planning Amara Konneh, the Minister of Public Works Samuel Kofi Woods and the Minister of Justice Christiana Tah. Only one new replacement will be announced today, according to information obtained by FrontPageAfrica. Natty B. Davis is expected to replace Richard Tolbert as the head of the National Investment Commission(NIC). FPA can also confirmed that at least four ministers sent on leave will not be returning: Foreign Minister Banke King Akerele, Richard Tolbert, formerly of the NIC, Morris Saytumah, former Minister of State for Legal and Economic Affairs and Eugene Shannon, former Minister of Lands, Mines and Energy.
Further appointments are expected in the coming days.
