Two children of fallen AFL Commanding General Thomas Quiwonkpa have complained of being left out of a reconciliation meeting held by President Sirleaf.
President Sirleaf last week met with Quiwonkpa’s widow, Tarloh Quiwonkpa and former President Samuel Doe’s widow Nancy Doe urging them to unite.
But Deddeh and Thomas Quiwonkpa told Star Radio it was important for them to be a part of such reconciliation process.
They claimed there was still deep division between the children of Quiwonkpa and their step mother Tarloh as well as Madam Nancy Doe.
The children of the late AFL commanding General also called on President Sirleaf to reconcile with the Quiwonkpa family for peace to exist among them.
Late General Quiwonkpa was killed after his failed coup attempt on November 12, 1985 by the Samuel Doe regime.
It was rumored that the failed coup was supported by several opposition politicians including Madam Sirleaf.
