Consistent with the 2011 electoral calendar released on August 20, the National Elections Commission (NEC) will Friday, August 27, 2010 officially launch the National Voters’ Registration Exercise at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the conference room of the Commission.
According to a NEC release, the official launch of the Voters’ Registration Exercise, which is a prelude to the start of the National Voters’ Registration Exercise scheduled to commence on January 10, 2011, is expected to bring together media practitioners, political parties, Civil Society Organizations, international and local partners as well as other relevant stakeholders.
Chairman James M. Fromoyan will highlight the procedures and processes involved in the ensuing Voters’ Registration exercise.
